For those of you who refuse to believe in my Heavenly Father because you say there is too much evil in the world for there to be a just God; I say that there is too much goodness, kindness and love for there not to be a God. Love cannot come from a big bang.
For those who refuse to believe God because you say that there is hypocrisy in the church and Christians don’t act like Christians; I say, judge people by their actions not by their words. If they say one thing and do the other, then they are hypocrites and don’t follow them. Why then should their behavior keep you from finding God who has declared and showed His love. He is not a man and He doesn’t lie.
For those who believe that there is no way to really know if there is a God or not, I say, go outside, look at any animal, watch a butterfly, cut open a piece of fruit, look in the mirror, look at an anatomy chart. God is screaming at you in all the majestic order, designs, patterns, systems and symmetry in this universe…you can’t miss Him.
For those who believe that there is no way to know the truth because it’s been polluted, passed down by men, diluted, perverted and we will never really know the truth; I say, ask Him, ask God to reveal Himself to you. If you don’t know what bible version to read, just begin by praying. Ask him that, if He is real, to reveal Himself. If you ask it earnestly, you will meet Him. If you seek Him, you will find Him, it’s a promise.
For those of you who refuse to believe God because of the limitation you feel He would put on your life, I want you to know, you already believe, that’s why you are afraid He’ll stop you from the wrong you want to do. By simply choosing to run the red light doesn’t mean it wasn’t there and you know it. When you finally meet Him, you will have no excuse. Accept Him or reject Him; don’t lie to yourself like He’s not there.
For those of you who feel you are spiritual enough to make your own way, you believe in “a god” and have tapped into the spirit realm. There is a Lord of that realm, one who created it and the natural realm that flows from it. One who sits on high and has paths to draw you to Him. Don’t let your own mysticism draw you from His truth. Every spirit is not from God.
There should be nothing that stops you from knowing God, nothing anybody could do or say. No circumstance, no idea or concept. If you try to know Him with your own though process, how you see things and your own logic, you will miss Him. If you try to see Him with your understandings of your absolutes, your rules and guidelines, you will miss Him. When you try to see Him with your standards and how you would do things you will never know Him.
But when you seek to know the truth, when you seek to truly know if there is a God, when you truly seek to know if Jesus Christ was His Son, then in all sincerity you will find Him. You will come to know that there is a God who loves you, who is bigger than the world, bigger than our limited nature and that He wants to know you!
