We have been called to execute God’s mission in the Earth. We need insight on what we need to execute the plan God has for the world and those around us. This only comes through the word of God and revelation from the Holy Spirit.
Jeremiah 29:11 says,
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Just what is the expected end us in this season? I promise you that if we as a body are not FIRMLY connected to the Holy Spirit…we could miss that end.
John 14:26 says,
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Romans 8:26-27 says,
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
We need the Holy Spirit to know the will of God.
We need the Holy Spirit for the power to do the will of God.
We need the Holy Spirit so communication with the body will be clear.
We need the Holy Spirit so the body can function properly and with the same goals.
Isaiah 30:21 says,
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
But many times, we can become dull of hearing. God’s word can get lost in the noise especially.
If we’re not seeking.
If we’re not listening.
If we just do this the way we’ve always done it.
We need to reconnect with the Holy Spirit. We need his touch, insight and revelation to move into all that the Father has for us.
Father,
Reconnect us to the Holy Spirit. Help us to become more sensitive to His movement in our lives, to His voice in our ear and to His prompting in our soul. Continue to direct our steps and reconnect us today.
